You have already chosen our radar. The next step is to decide which flight type is ideal for your business

If you’ve realized that Radaz radar is what your company needs to reach new heights, the next step is to choose which of the two types of flights best suits your operations.

The investment in the monitoring system directly depends on the chosen flight type. This is because each has a specific yield and a coverage time suited for particular areas. Below, you’ll get to know each of them.

The two types of Radaz flights

We present the two available flight types: helical and linear. Each one is ideal for different coverage and depth needs.

Helical flight: ideal for detailed analysis of smaller areas

Designed for companies that need highly detailed and deep monitoring in smaller areas, the helical flight offers unique characteristics, even though its coverage is more limited in terms of extension:

  • Deeper penetration: moving in circles, this flight allows for deeper soil analysis in a specific area.
  • Higher resolution: it’s essential for detailed analyses by providing a superior level of resolution.
  • Main applications: ideal for locating anthills, buried stones, hidden objects, and groundwater sources.
  • Adjustable height and radius: it operates at an altitude of up to 120 meters with an initial radius of 150 meters, descending to 80 meters in height with an expanded radius of 250 meters.
Linear flight: the ideal option for large areas

For those needing efficient monitoring of large areas, this flight is the ideal choice:

  • Large area coverage: the Linear Flight covers areas of over 40 hectares, enabling extensive monitoring.
  • Deep monitoring: with a penetration of 0.5 meters, it provides a detailed soil analysis over a wider area.
  • Main applications: frequently used to identify soil moisture and monitor subsidence, ideal for forest inventories, cartography, and topography.

Which one is best for you?

Both flight types are highly efficient and can perform up to 10 flights per day. This daily capacity is crucial for estimating how many systems you’ll need to cover your area of interest.
