The pursuit of cutting-edge innovations to solve complex problems is a constant in both academia and industry. Amidst this pursuit, Radaz stands out as a reference in radar technology, catching the attention of giants like NASA and UNICAMP.

Partnership with UNICAMP and CPTEn

The Paulista Center of Energetic Transition Studies (CPTEn), which is part of UNICAMP, recently published an article highlighting the versatility and quality of our radars.

With the donation of one of our devices to CPTEn, the center was able to encourage innovation among its engineers, who can now identify and monitor environmental risks in the context of innovation for Smart Cities.

Innovation recognized in Master's and Doctoral research

Radaz’s technology has also been the subject of high-level academic research. The company’s Technical Director, Laila Moreira, explored the functionality of the radar in her doctoral thesis at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) at UNICAMP.

Additionally, Electrical Engineer Gian Carlos Oré Huacles also took advantage of our advanced technology to complete his master’s thesis, which he defended in 2020.

These academic works are a testament to the depth and technological relevance that Radaz has brought to the field of engineering.

NASA's attention

Radaz managed to capture the attention of NASA — one of the world's leading innovation institutions — with its advanced mapping of forested areas.

The American space agency is interested in acquiring the system to estimate evapotranspiration and deforestation on a global scale — an extraordinary recognition of the precision and utility of the technology developed by a Brazilian company!

One technology, thousands of solutions

As mentioned by Professor Hugo, the leader of the group that has been working with SAR radars at CPTEn since 2004:

"It’s incredible how, as time passes, the uses of radar expand in ways we could have never imagined."

This statement illustrates the growing importance and applicability of our radars in areas far beyond initial expectations.

If you believe Radaz’s technology can contribute to your business, don’t wait. Get in touch and discover how this innovative solution could be the game-changer your company needs.
