Have you ever imagined being able to visualize, in stunning detail, the roots of trees and the underground rock formations of a forest in the depths of winter? Thanks to the technological advancement of Radaz radar, this is now an exciting reality.
Last autumn, the SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences - embarked on a journey of discovery using the Explorer RD350 radar over an industrial forest in Umeå, Sweden. The results exceeded expectations, providing extremely relevant data for studies of the forest and local soil.
The radar's ability to penetrate the ground and capture detailed images was crucial for understanding the entire structure beneath a frozen surface. The application of these precise and clear 3D images allowed SLU researchers to study specific details for the very first time and this partnership promises to open many more new avenues.
As we move forward, the radar technology, enhanced by artificial intelligence, is expected to achieve even greater feats.
Whether it's winter, summer, autumn, or spring: no challenge is big enough when it comes to Radaz.
